June Jam is built on the spirit of co-creation. Our volunteers are the backbone of the festival, helping with everything from greeting guests at Box Office to keeping the vibes high with proper camp placement and diverse onsite support. By joining the team, you aren’t just attending the festival—you’re helping build the home we all share for the weekend.
Are you a builder of worlds or a creator of curiosities? We are looking for large-scale installations, interactive sculptures, funky art cars, and immersive environments that transform June Jam into a dreamscape. Whether your work is made of wood, light, or recycled magic, we want to help you showcase it.
Group Camps are for campers who plan to stay together and share a designated camp space. All members of a Group Camp must have confirmed ticket purchases in order to be considered for placement.
Theme Camps take things a step further by contributing something interactive to the June Jam community. This can include art activations, installations, art cars, performances, workshops, lounges, or other creative experiences—similar in spirit to the camps you might find at That Thing in the Desert. Theme Camps that offer meaningful participation and engagement will receive priority placement as space allows.
Camp power may be available for purchase after your camp has been approved and placed.
If your camp plans to include sound, all hardware must meet our system requirements. Quiet hours must be respected and neighboring camps considered at all times. Sound privileges are granted conditionally and may be limited or revoked if guidelines are not followed.
